Community Involvement

I was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario. I owe a lot to this community, because it gave me so much - from when I was a child, all through my teenage years, and as I grew up and started a family of my own. It's not hard to see why it's so important to me to give back to my community.

Over the years, I've had the honour of being involved with many fantastic local organizations. I volunteered my time as a coach for St. Clair basketball for 16 years, and am actively involved with the Bluewater Referees Association as well as Bluewater Men's Slo-Pitch. In addition, I sit on the board of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club and St. Clair Child and Youth Services. Every year, I proudly sponsor wonderful local events such as the Assante Dirty Dash, Sarnia Rugby Club's Play It Forward, and the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club Men's Invitational.

I am so fortunate to be able to give back as a way to say thank you. This community is my home, and I love it.
